Familiar/Drives Guide

Familiars are items that can be linked to Weapons and Armors. Hereby there exists 2 type of Familiars, those for weapons and those for armors.

Familiars has level, depending on it you may not be able to link an familiar to an piece of gear. The gear level reequeriment must be always same or less level than the familiar.

Example: you cannot link an lvl 65 familiar to an lvl 60 piece. But you can link an lvl 70 familiar to an lvl 75 piece.

This can be obtained from Maxim NPC at Grasscover Camp. It can be dismantled to obtain Familiar Components to craft Familiars in the same NPC.

Familiars apply the effects given in its description when linked. Usually the best effect is % damage vs bosses.
