Brooches Guide

Brooches are items that can linked to fashion pieces that gives status and set effects which are the most important of it. You can link up to 3 brooches per fashion slot part (Head, Top, Gloves, Bottom and shoes).

Brooches also has different rarities as any gear piece, 

Bit-> Kilo-> Mega-> Giga-> Tera

Being Bit the worst and Tera the best.

There are too different styles of brooches. Attack, Defense and Utility/Technical, this is also the order that brooches must be linked to fashion pieces, you can't link 3 attack brooches into an fashion piece.

You can obtain brooches from Gruni shop pouches and some raids/instances.

You can also fuse same grade brooches to have an chance to obtain an higher grade brooch. You need an brooch fuser item bough on gruni shop.

Not just that, if you didn't had enough of categoring on this brooch system, there is another thing. Brooches are separated too by Types and thats how set effects enter in action.

The types of brooches are:

• SD or Standard.
• BSK or Berserk.
• FOT or Fortress.
• SIN or Assassin.

Set effects are given by linking 3 brooches of same rarities and types per fashion slot.

An example would be wearing 3 Giga BSK brooches on hat would bring an effect correctly.

Meanwhile, linking 2 Giga and 1 Tera BSK brooches won't do anything, also bringing 1 Giga BSK and 2 Giga SIN.

But there is no problem sharing different types of set brooches among all fashion pieces. They just have to be compatible in the fashion piece itself.

Same Rarity and same type per fashion piece. That's it.

So, talking more specifically about set effects, every brooch when linked apply the specific brooch stat or effect, but when linked in sync with the other 2 brooches in that fashion slot it gives an extra effect. One set effect per fashion slot. Its an crazy thing because depending on what type of brooches set you link to an fashion piece it gives different effects, but not just that, effects also change depending on what fashion slot we are linking brooches to.

Also, the higher the rarity of the brooches we are linking, the better is the effect we are getting but remember that the 3 brooches in the fashion slot must be the same rarity or the effect won't be applied.

But don't be scared of using an low rarity brooch set and you have plans of getting an higher rarity in the future, because you can extract very easily the brooches from any fashion slot using brooch extractors (gruni shop) or zenay itself. (it is not expensive).

Usually, fashion pieces doesn't have all 3 brooch slots avaliables unless the fashion piece comes from cash shop. Sometimes on events you can get items to unlock brooch slots on fashion pieces.

About what sets of effects is the best it depends on class and even on what we are or plan to do, I recommend you to search it more specifically on google.
